From idea to $2.1M valuation in under nine months.

Twiz.io was already doing $1.7 million per year as a marketing agency when Lucas James saw the opportunity. The agency market he lived in had a problem nobody had solved cleanly: referral tracking between agencies. Instead of licensing someone else's tool or ignoring it, he built one — on Bubble.io, with no engineers, for less than $140 a month to run.

That product was AgencyGo. A platform that lets agencies send and receive referrals, track activity, and manage partner relationships. It launched at the end of 2021. By August 2022 — roughly nine months later — it had grown from $2,000 to $28,000 per month in recurring revenue. The venture capital valuation hit $2.1 million. Private equity pegged it at $1.2 million.

AgencyGo was ultimately sold as part of the broader Twiz.io exit. The SaaS layer added meaningful enterprise value to a transaction that started as an agency sale. The whole thing — from first line of Bubble code to acquisition — cost less than a single month of traditional software development.

Lucas James explains how AgencyGo grew to a $2.1M valuation using no-code tools on Bubble.io

"We built it, scaled it, and now have many users on the platform — and this is with the software that cost us about $140 per month to manage. Very cheap, very efficient, very good."

You can build a business that costs you practically nothing but is worth millions of dollars. It's what I was able to do — and I know that you can do the same thing.

What Worked

Built on No-Code

AgencyGo was built entirely on Bubble.io — no engineers, no custom infrastructure, no expensive development cycles. It proved that with the right market knowledge, no-code can produce a fundable, sellable SaaS product.

Zero to $28K MRR

From launch in late 2021 to August 2022, AgencyGo grew from $2,000 to $28,000 per month in recurring revenue — a 14x increase in under nine months, driven by a market that already existed and needed exactly this tool.

$2.1M Valuation

The venture capital valuation reached $2.1 million. Private equity valued it at $1.2 million. That's the kind of multiple that makes no-code SaaS one of the highest-leverage business models for founders who already understand their market.

Market Knowledge as the Moat

AgencyGo worked because Lucas already lived the problem. He understood how agencies share referrals, what they needed to track, and how to talk to buyers. The market insight came first — the product came second.

Sold in the Twiz.io Exit

AgencyGo was sold as part of the broader Twiz.io acquisition. The SaaS layer added substantial enterprise value to what started as an agency sale — turning one exit into a significantly larger transaction.

A Repeatable Playbook

The path Lucas took — identify the pain your market has, build lean on no-code, validate with real revenue, then sell — is a playbook any agency owner can follow. You don't need engineers. You need insight and execution.
